Vela 1.0 is the upcoming fast model in the family. It is designed to give quick, direct answers for the work that fills most of a day: questions, summaries, rewrites, and drafts.
When Auto is available, Guardian Network will choose Vela when speed matters most. You will also be able to pick it yourself when you want immediate, uncomplicated answers.
Vela trades depth for speed by design. For long documents or harder problems, Phylax 1.0 will go further. Like every model, it can make mistakes, so important answers deserve a check.
Guardian Network is the planned model selection, safety, and routing layer for Onora. Every request will get the same safeguards, whichever model responds.
